New Service Information:
Anyone in need of gas & water must come in person to Anna City Hall and complete a utility application. Photo ID of the renter and the property owner's signature is required on the application before services can be turned on or transferred to the renter's name.
The following deposits are required:
Gas: $175.00
Water: $75.00
All utility bills are mailed out by the 5th of every month. Bills must be paid by 4:00 pm on the scheduled cut-off date or the utilities will be terminated. There will be no extensions! If the utilities are terminated, the City of Anna will not restore service until the previous balance and the current amount due are paid in full, along with all turn-off and turn-on fees that have been applied.
City ordinances prohibit anyone other than authorized City Personnel to turn City meters on or off. If you are in need of these services, please contact Anna City Hall at (618)833-8528. Please be cautioned that fines and meter repair cost may be imposed for violations of this policy.

Weekly trash collection is to be placed in the green cart provided and placed at curbside the night before your scheduled pick-up day.
The City of Anna offers a quarterly junk removal program and includes removal of most types of junk. Tires, wiring, or excessive construction debris will not be picked-up in this program. All junk should be set out the day before your regular pick-up day. Please be patient during this week, as the service may run behind schedule due to the increase in pick-up quantities. **If your regular trash pick up falls on an observed holiday, your cart will be emptied the following day.
The City of Anna offers brush and yard waste pick-up to our customers that reside in the City limits. Here are a few general guidelines:
-Limbs should be placed at curbside or at an accessible alley
-Limbs should be no more than 10" in diameter
-Limbs should be stacked in a manner in which City personnel can easily manage
-Any other yard waste must be bagged to be eligible for pick-up (this includes leaves, yard trimmings, and gumballs)
